About The Department

The Community Partnership Development Department Administration is one of the departments affiliated with the University Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. it seeks to enhance the University's role in serving society and to build effective channels of communication with various sectors.

The administration strives to achieve integration between the university and the community through qualitative initiatives and strategic partnerships that contribute to sustainable development and support the realization of Saudi Vision 2030.

Vision

Excellence in community partnership and volunteer work in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable development for the local and national community.

Mission

The Community Partnership Development Department at the university seeks to build effective partnerships with various community sectors and to promote volunteer work. its aim is to achieve integration between the University and community, contribute to the development of the local and national community, and realize sustainable development.

Objectives
  • Establish effective partnerships between the University and the local and national community that addresses  mutual needs and contribute to sustainable development.
  • Employ the University's capacities and resources to serve the community and meet its needs.
  • Raise community awareness of the importance of education, scientific research, and the culture of lifelong learning.
  • Enhance active participation of University members in serving the community.
  • Promote volunteer work.

Administration Tasks

• Build a database of current and future university partners to enhance community partnership. 
• Develop and implement an action plan for the administration activities. 
• Contribute to implementing investment partnerships with local partners to support the University's role in serving society.
• Promote a culture of social responsibility in the university and the local community.
• Improve existing community partnerships for the benefit of the University and its graduates.
• Establish partnerships with the private sector and other relevant sectors.
• Promote community responsibility and implement community service projects .
• Encourage cooperation between the University and local/national community institutions.
• Motivate University members to actively engage in community service programs.
• Develop an integrated data platform to collect and analyze community service data.
• Evaluate existing community partnerships and provide recommendations for improvement or development.
• Prepare regular reports on the administration's performance, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Propose community service activities and provide necessary support effective participation of University members.
• Identify the administration's needs in terms of human resources, equipment, and follow up on their provision.
•Identify training needs for staff and nominate them for appropriate programs.
•Prepare a guide for community initiatives in collaboration with the Vision Realization Office.
